My name is Akinlabi-Ismail Ismail Sekinat, my Kunya is Ummu Faatimah.I am experienced in working as a facilitator of the Qur’an, Tajweed, and Arabic.I do have modern techniques for helping non-natives read the Qur’an making use of easy and professional methods. I have completed my Bachelor’s degree in Childhood Education, and more recently earned series of certificates in the fundamentals of Tajweed. I have been trained on integrated Qur’an teaching pedagogies and currently a Year 4 student at the Qur’an and it’s Sciences Branch of Madeenat-ul-Huffaz.
I am the founder of Daarul Hasanaat Academy, where I teach Qur’an and its Sciences coupled with Arabic Language to Adults and Kids. My students have impressively increased their level of connection with the Qur’an, through the help of Allãh.I am not a scholar preaching from on high. I established the academy in order to build a soul-nourishing relationship with the Qur’an and to assist those who strive on this path, reach their goal. Alhamdulillaah, I have been able to change the usual narratives of people who assume that Tajweed cannot be applied by Non-Natives.
I am passionate about teaching kids and try my best possible to exercise patience and creativity with them, I Iove to put them through and imbibe spiritual consciousness along side good morals in them, I am always willing to support kids’ basic cognitive, behavioral, social and physical developmental milestones.
